Etsy listing video — requirements and converter

Etsy plays listing videos silently for 5–15 seconds. This preset trims to 15 s, removes the sound and keeps the picture sharp.

Questions

Why is there no sound in my Etsy video?

Etsy removes audio from listing videos. Removing it before upload also makes the file smaller.

Can I choose which 15 seconds are used?

Yes — set the start time under Advanced settings → Trim, split & name; the preset keeps 15 seconds from there.
